Richard Hoeve

Owner + Art Director

As founder of Splash Communications, Rich brings 15 years of experience as a Senior Designer and Creative Director.

After graduating from Marketing and Advertising at Langara in 1991, Rich spent the first year working on Pacific Rim Magazine as a designer.

From 1994 to 1999 Rich worked as a senior designer at Graphically Speaking Inc., in Vancouver. At Graphically Speaking he was in charge of creating business presentations and multimedia presentation for many large corporations such as, BC GAS, Telus, BC Hydro, Weyerhaeuser , Impark, Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment and many more. He also developed presentations to raise capital for mining companies such as, Sliver Standard, BHP Billington and Placer Dome Inc.

Rich went on to work from 1999 to 2003 as Art Director for Top Producer Systems Inc., the world leader in Real Estate sales and marketing software. At Top Producer he had the pleasure of Art Directing a team of 7 designers. He was in charge of the design of everything from interface design, internet email design, mailouts, posters, flyers, magazine advertising, trade show booths, presentations design, icon design, animation, dvd editing, video editing, demo design, catalogues, to brochures and in-house promotions.

Abe Milde

Technical Director

As Technical Director, Abe will ensure that all of the technical objectives exceed expectations. Abe brings 10 years of professional experience as a Web/Multimedia Development Specialist and Technical Director.

After pursuing a joint Major in Computer Science and Business Administration at Simon Fraser University from 1992 to 1996, Abe decided to work in the rapidly growing computer graphics and presentation industry.

From 1997 to 2000, Abe worked as a Technical Director at Graphically Speaking Services Inc. Abe led all research and development to expand the company's multimediasoftware and web services.
